Description |
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize attendees with the basic techniques of sailing through the theoretical and practical teaching with a methodological approach.
Theoretical teaching includes introduction of basic terms related to the sailboat and sailing, reading of nautical charts, fundamentals of meteorology, rules of avoiding collisions, rescuing a man in the sea, etc. Practical teaching includes maneuvering a sailboat using an engine, preparing the ship for sailing, sailing with given course, change of the direction of the wind and downwind, reefing the sails and their adjustment, handling ropes, making knots, etc. Complite program lasts seven days.The course will be filmed with digital video camera in order to make high quality tracks and analyze the practical training so as to help successfully eliminate errors. The final video will be processed and sent to the address of the participants as a beautiful memory of the sailing school.
