Description |
|
The aim of the course is to train attendees so that they may attempt to participate independently in competitive sailing and to apply acquired knowledge successfully at the regatta field. The course is intended for all attendees who want to attempt competitive sailing, and for those who possess knowledge of advanced course, i.e., specific sailing experience. During the course, participants become familiar with the theory and regatta rules, terms used in the regattas, what is the ship survey and how it affects the result. All the participants will be passing all the positions on the boat and the accent is on developing stronger team spirit, which is very important in the regatta process. Improving reefing sails and masts is to be improved. Special attention is dedicated to work with a spinnaker. Over the course of the entire program, the situation trainings are conducted simulating the regatta conditions such as the arrival and round passing of marks, simulation of regatta start... We can also organize participation in one of the regattas for all attendees upon request. The course will be filmed with digital video camera in order to make high quality tracks and analyze the practical training so as to help successfully eliminate errors. Complete program lasts seven days. The final video will be processed and sent to the address of the participants as a beautiful memory of the sailing school. |
