SAILING LEVEL - No experience, Beginner

The aim of the course is to familiarize attendees with the basic techniques of sailing through the theoretical and practical teaching with a methodological approach.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

Theoretical teaching includes introduction of basic terms, points of sailing, reading of nautical charts, fundamentals of meteorology, rules of avoiding collisions, rescuing a man in the sea-MOB, etc.

Practical teaching includes maneuvering a sailboat using an engine, preparing the ship for sailing, how to adjust sails according to the wind direction, sailing maneuvers, tacking and jibing tehniques, sailing with given course, reefing the sails, handling ropes, making basic knots, etc.

From the first day, the complete organization on the boat, as well as everyday duties on-board, cleaning, cooking, etc. are determined.

*In fact, the attendees will get an excellent knowledge base and be ready for the exam (SKIPPER LICENSE) - what is optional.

DAILY SCHEDULE

• 08:00 a.m. Breakfast on board
• 10:00 a.m. Theoretical lecture
• 11:00 a.m. Practical classes at sea

• 05:00 p.m. Arrival in marina
• 07:00 p.m. Dinner

CHECK IN: Saturday from 4 p.m.
CECK OUT: Friday till 16 p.m.

ACCOMMODATION: During all seven days the attendees will be situated on the boat - 6 overnight stays.

MEALS:

Breakfast on board-team preparing breakfast
Lunch on board - lunch package or team cooking - (simple food cooked on broad).
Dinners are organized as follows -in the local taverns or on the boat-team cooking.
